KUALA LUMPUR, 20 Mei 26- MALAYSIA HOSTS FIG/IHO/ICA IBSC-49 STAKEHOLDER WORKSHOP. Last week, Malaysia had the distinct honour of hosting the 𝐅𝐈𝐆/𝐈𝐇𝐎/𝐈𝐂𝐀 𝐈𝐁𝐒𝐂-𝟒𝟗 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 from 11 to 20 May in Kuala Lumpur. Coordinated by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and supported by the National Hydrographic Centre, this event gathered the brightest minds from hydrographic offices, academia and the maritime industry worldwide. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞? As the maritime sector rapidly evolves with AI, autonomous vessels, and digital twin technology, the global standards for those who map our oceans must evolve too.
