TRENGTHENING NHC-UKHO COOPERATION | SHAPING THE FUTURE OF HYDROGRAPHY . National Hydrographic Centre (NHC) and the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office (UKHO) continued their bilateral engagement aimed at strengthening hydrographic cooperation and exploring opportunities for future collaboration. Discussions focused on a proposed cooperation framework, historical hydrographic records, training and capacity development, as well as NHC’s transition towards the S-100 environment. Both organisations exchanged perspectives on how their respective expertise and experience could support the advancement of modern hydrographic services. This engagement reaffirms the shared commitment of NHC and UKHO to strengthening institutional capabilities, promoting knowledge exchange and advancing digital hydrography —contributing towards safer navigation and a more connected maritime future.
